Terms & Conditions for the supply of goods www.icejewellers.com 'Goods' refers to jewellery in sterling silver and all gold and platinum using semi-precious and precious gemstones/stones.

Making a purchase:
We must receive payment in its entirety for the full price quoted on the items at checkout before an order can be accepted. Once we have been notified of receipt of payment, we will email the customer with confirmation of order on the email address provided to us. Once we've confirmed and accepted your order, a legally binding contract is entered into between us and the customer. We accept most major credit cards with the exception of American Express. All credit card purchases must be directed to the cardholders address.

Packaging and Delivery:
All of our jewellery is beautifully packaged in a sturdy box accompanied by information cards. It is delivered using a secure, swift service.

All orders will require a signature on delivery.

Deliveries within all South African major cities are charged at R150 and all orders are dispatched using a South African courier service, next day delivery. For all other South African cities, a surcharge may be charged and are also dispatched using a South African courier service. International orders will be charged accordingly and quoted upon before dispatching the item.

If an order is returned to us due to the postal or courier service not being able to complete the delivery for any reason, the customer will be responsible for the repeat delivery costs.

Subject to availability of the item ordered, we aim to dispatch within 7 working days of purchase. If the item is readily available and in stock at our South African store we will dispatch it on the following working day. Between Christmas and the New-Year, any order placed will be delayed in production until the New-Year as the studio is closed over this time.

Gift Vouchers:
Gift Vouchers are available in denominations of R100 and can be redeemed against an online or in store purchase at the point of checkout. Several cards can be redeemed against a single transaction.

Cancellation by us:
We reserve the right to cancel a transaction between ourselves and the customer for the following reasons:

- as we only source very limited amounts of the materials we use, we may have insufficient materials to make an item that has been popular
- one or more of the items the customer ordered was listed with an incorrect price due to a typing error

If we do cancel an order, the customer will be notified by email or telephone, and the customer’s credit card will be re-credited as soon as possible. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

Liability:
If the items that you receive from us are not what you ordered or are damaged, we shall not have any liability to you the customer unless you notify us of the problem by email (info@icejewellers.com) within 7 working days of receipt of the items in question.

On confirmation of the delivery date from us, if you don't receive the items you ordered from us within this time frame (usually 7 working days) from placing the order, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by email or telephone of the problem. This must happen within 7 working days from the date of expected receipt of delivery as confirmed by us. If you notify us of the issue under this condition, we will be obliged to either:

- Make good on any shortage or non-delivery.
- Replace any damaged or defective items.
- Refund to you the amount paid by you for the items in question. This excludes the delivery charge.

We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of items purchased from us once the tags have been removed and the items have been worn.

We cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery once the items have left us and are in possession of the courier service

Our Rights:
We reserve the right to alter our terms and conditions on occasion. Following these changes, the customers continued use of the website acts as their acceptance of these changes. It falls under the customer’s responsibility to check on any changes to our terms and conditions.

Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy rights of our online visitors and recognise the importance of protecting the information collected about them. We have adopted a Privacy Policy that guides how we collect, store, and use the information that you provide us with.

If you are under 16, we require that you inform a parent or guardian about our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions as well as requiring their consent to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions before registering or placing an order with Ice Jewellers.

What personal information do we collect from you and how do we do it?
Ice Jewellers collects personal information in several ways when you place an order or purchase a gift voucher for a friend. By registering, you are consenting to the collection of your personal data. If an order is placed with us, we need to hold personal information including your name, email address, phone numbers, home address, shipping and credit/debit card billing address(es) so that we can process and fulfil your order.

Card details will never be shared with third parties and will only be used to process your order, using our payment partner's systems. Additionally we may also obtain information as a result of authentication or identity checks. We will ask for your telephone number, this is particularly relevant to our courier service if used by the customer. Such details allow us to process your order and to let you know the status of your order.

Cookies:
A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer's hard drive by your web browser which tracks your movements within websites. Our site uses cookies to keep track of how often you visit our site, the contents of your shopping cart and to deliver content specific to your interests. If you choose to alter your browser settings to prevent cookies, you will still be able to use most of the features on our website, including the ability to purchase items.

What we do with your information:
Ice Jewellers may use your personal information for the processing of orders, payments and to provide you with a personalised shopping experience. We will also use your details to fulfil and deliver your orders and manage your account. Where there is a legal obligation to do so, we may disclose your information to any relevant regulatory body.

We may also use your personal information to send you marketing updates but only ever in accordance with your preferences (as detailed in the next section). We do not sell your details to third party marketing companies.

We do collate information about site traffic, sales, wish lists, and other commercial information which we retain for our own records but this information does not include any information which can identify you personally.

Finally, we may use your personal information for our internal marketing and demographic studies, together with non-personal data to monitor customer patterns so we can consistently improve our site design to better meet our visitors' needs.

Marketing opt-in and opt-out provision:
When you register, you will be given the option to opt-out of subscribing to our regular update service which will send you:

- Email alerts for new products and collections, news features, special offers, exclusive events that we're hosting or participating in, and one-off marketing promotions. Such alerts may include marketing information about Ice Jewellers or selected collaborative business partners.

At all times, we will offer you the opportunity to unsubscribe out of any service or update to which you have subscribed, if you change your mind. Any e-mail we send you will contain an easy automated unsubscribe link so that you can opt-out of that particular mailer. Simply follow the indications in the email. Alternatively you can change your email preferences or opt out of receiving email all updates by going to our newsletter page and following the instructions to unsubscribe.

How you can access and if necessary, change the personal information we maintain:

Only you or, upon your request, the Customer Care department, may access your personal data from the website using your password and User ID. Information may be changed online within My Account, Shipping Details, and My Email Preferences. Credit/debit card details are not stored on any of our systems for security reasons. If you change your billing or shipping address while your order is still being processed, please contact Ice Jewellers otherwise your order maybe shipped to the original address. If you prefer, you may contact us by email at info@icejewellers.com and we will amend your personal details.

Safeguarding your personally identifiable information:
We will take reasonable care to maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the information you have provided us with. When you place an order or access your account information, we use a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption which encrypts your information before it is sent to us to protect it from unauthorised use. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that third party business partners' to whom we transfer any data will provide sufficient protection of that personal information.
